Join the City of Sevierville as we celebrate the spirit and accomplishments of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Ceremonies begin at the First Baptist Church of Sevierville with a commemorative march to the Sevier County Courthouse, followed by an inspiring tribute to the life and works of Dr. King. Program includes musical, vocal and dance selections, as well as a keynote address by Marjorie Stewart, educator & activist.

Smith Family Theater open year round

Smith Family Theater features Oldies, Country, Gospel, Impersonations and Comedy

Six time winner of the Mountain Press Reader’s Choice award for Best Show, the Smith Family Theater continues to entertain and delight visitors with a family friendly blend of music, dance, and comedy. Located on the Pigeon Forge Parkway, the theater’s signature show features Charlie, Jim, and Charlie Bob performing classic country, heartfelt gospel, bluegrass, and more. One of the few shows to remain open year-round, the Smith Family Theater includes a pre-show buffet style dinner.

In addition to the Smith Family, legendary performer T.G. Sheppard appears on select dates to wow the audience with his chart-topping favorites.

The Smith Family Theater also produces a tribute to rock and roll: Blast from the Past. Featuring Matt Cordell as Elvis, this retro-extravaganza bebops along with all the great music and style of the 1950′s. From the hits of Broadway’s Grease to the King of Rock and Roll, Blast From the Past takes you back to the hop!
