Globe-Riding

Sphereing in the Smokies!

Want to try one of newest, most extreme attractions in the Smokies? Jump into a giant plastic ball and have fun!

ZORB

ZORB Smoky Mountains is located in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, just off the Parkway. The ZORB Experience, also called ‘globe riding,’ is the experience of rolling down a hill in big inflatable globe at a specialized site. The two original types of ZORB globes are:

ZORBIT

  • wearing a harness
  • dry variety
  • straight track
  • single person ride
  • minimum age: 8 years
  • minimum height: 5′ 2”

ZYDRO

  • no harness
  • wet variety
  • straight track
  • zig-zag track
  • mutli-person ride
  • minimum age: 8 years

Fishpipe

Chris Roberts and company at Outdoor Gravity modified ZORB and created the FISHPIPE! Both rides are made by the same type of material and have similar designs. Once inside, the participant goes for a ride by rolling around with 20 gallons of water! The FISHPIPE globe is suspended in a metal frame that is powered by a motor to keep the globe spinning for up to 90 seconds. The extreme FISHPIPE ride is located in Sevierville, Tennessee at the “Outdoor Adventures of the Smokies” on the Parkway.

FISHPIPE

  • no harness
  • world’s “longest waterslide”
  • equivalent to a 400 yard waterslide
  • multi-person ride
  • minimum age: 8 years
  • max speed: 45 RPM

Globe-riding is safe, fun, and a once-in-a-lifetime experience you just can’t wait to tell everyone about!
