September 9th thru 11th: Shades of the Past is the kick-off for the Pigeon Forge fall car show season. This annual event is sure to please all car enthusiasts. Thousands of classic cars, antique cars, muscle cars, custom built cars, and unique cars of all colors fill the area.

The Smoky Mountain Convention Center hosts the Smoky Mountain Civil War and Relic Show, August 28th and 29th, 2010. See Civil War encampments, weaponry, and fashions, as well as relics, artifacts and more.

The 20th annual Patriot Festival headlined by Diamond Rio takes place July 3rd at Patriot Park with a fireworks show to follow. Then at midnight Gatlinburg's 35th annual Independence Day parade continues it's tradition as the first 4th of July parade in the nation. In Sevierville the Tennessee Smokies provide a spectacular fireworks show after their July 4th game against the Huntsville Stars.

The Annual Bloomin' Barbecue and Bluegrass Festival takes place in downtown Sevierville, May 14-15. Admission to the popular celebration is FREE. Music, food, contests and fun!

Over 150 athletes will compete at Ober Gatlinburg in Special Olympics Tennessee's 2010 Winter Games. This three day event includes contests in Alpine Skiing, Snowboarding, and Speed Skating.
